About

James Teare.
Founder and Lead Consultant

“I care about the issues arising from the use of AI, including accuracy, equality, the environment, fairness and freedom.  When looking at an AI product, I am looking at how it has been developed, what data it has been trained on, who owns the rights over the AI outputs, where safeguards are built in to ensure accuracy and fairness, and who is affected by it.

A solution must be developed deployed in a place where people – and their data and intellectual property - are adequately protected by law and in many cases that means a wide range of laws and regulations are relevant – including laws from other countries and regions.

“I lean towards the protection of the individual, community or business who may be impacted by the use of AI and believe that there is a balance to be found within the evolving regulation of AI innovation without compromising established rights.”.

TeareOne exists to advise and protect companies and individuals looking to innovate with the adoption of AI technology and processes.
